Ruben Rivera Luis
The founder and principal of DELANO FINANCE was born in 1971 in Lima, Peru, to a business family who instilled in him a passion for learning and ambition. At the age of 17, he immigrated to New York City. Ruben excelled academically, earning a scholarship to Baruch College, part of the City University of New York, where he graduated with a BBA in Finance. Seeking a global perspective, he spent two years in Viareggio, Tuscany studying the language, culture, and art. Returning to New York City Ruben entered the real estate industry, capitalizing on his finance and business expertise and trilingual fluency in Spanish, Italian, and English. He began as a residential real estate analyst at a boutique firm in SOHO Manhattan, His early work focused on market analysis and financing for condo developments in neighborhoods like Williamsburg. Over the next decade, Ruben built a reputation for navigating complex deals, from securing financing for mixed-use development in Long Island City to brokering multimillion-dollar commercial leases in Midtown. He is a senior real estate profesional in NYC. His dual education between NYC and Tuscany-Italy equipped him with analytical rigor and global outlook, enabling him to attract international investors, including Peruvian and italian clients. He continues to thrive in the city’s dynamic real estate landscape, balancing his careerwith advocacy for affordable housing initiatives, inspired by his own immigrant journey and his cosmopolitan community.
